New report published
This
report was initiated after concerns were raised by several organisations
at a Glasgow Rape Crisis Training event to members of Tayside
Ritual Abuse Support and Help (T.R.A.S.H.) staff in February 2007.
These organisations working with Asylum Seekers in Scotland expressed
fears that some Asylum Seekers were unable to report ritual abuse
cases and subsequently were not being granted asylum in the UK.
As
a result of these fears T.R.A.S.H. sought funding from Awards
for All to commission this report. Click

TRASH gets a quarter of a million grant from lottery
We
have just secured funding to increase the services we offer to
survivors. The big lottery has given us over a quarter of a million
pounds over the next 5 years to help survivors of ritual and organised
abuse. We will soon be recruiting a couple of workers and we will
have a full time support worker available soon.
